Day 1 : PARIS – ANTANANARIVO – AMBATOFOTSY (21Km)
Early in the morning arrival at Ivato international airport. Meet with our representative guide and driver ; transfer to the hotel LE CARAT , located 21 km in the suburb of Antananarivo for a brunch.
M orning visit of the “Gasikara park”, a resume of Madagascar " on a small scale " showing its architecture , landscape and culture ”.
After lunch, a day orientation supervised by an expert speech-maker.( specialezed in marriage , funeral events… A document highlighting the Malgasy culture and civilisation .
Dinner and night at LE CARAT in bungalows overlooking a beautiful lake
Day 2 : AMBATOFOTSY
After breakfast, visit of typical villages in the surroundings Image of a Malagasy developed countryside. Accross the beautiful landscape decorated by the rice-and vegetable fields and both typical and traditional architecture
Visit of some craftsmakers around the village specialized on raphia , tchatch and dry flowers.
A place where Hadivory(ditch), tamboho are still surviving along the hills despite the long time.

Afternoon return drive to LE CARAT

Day 3 : AMBATOFOTSY - PERINET 144 km
Breakfast at the hotel, morning drive to the east to Perinet. Across the abrupt gorges and the undulating plains, the eastern part of Madagascar is the most wooded.
Late in the morning arrival at Perinet.Lunch at VAKONA LODGE , installation in rooms
Vakona lodge , an exceptional luxury ecotourist structure offering guenine hospitality and an intimate knowledge of malagasy environment
Afternoon , meeting with the villagers , catholic school and local guides in collaboration with the MITSINJO project, dedicated to conservation and involvement of local communities sharing and conserving the spirit of malagasy people .

Day 4: PERINET
Another full day to spend with the community at Perinet.
English teaching , social and cultural education in the school , ecoomic orientation with some Dodwell project members who is contributing to the
Emancipation of the Young and children health

Dinner and night at VAKONA FOREST LODGE, a pleasant hotel which combines active holiday with comfort and Malagasy traditions.
Day 5 : PERINET
Second day of meeting with the villagers .
Lunch with the community , contact and discussion .

Day 6 : PERINET
Early in the morning, visit of the national reserve of Analamazaotra, to see the famous Indri Indri well-known as the boy-sized lemurs or the tail-less lemur, and to hear their haunting singing-call as they are crying.You can also meet some rare bird species and many other species either fauna or flora like endemic orchids. Walk in the beaten track of the forest.
Lunch at the restaurant FEON’NY ALA , at the edge of the reserve.
Afternoon visit of the private reserve of VAKONA LODGE , an example of transfer of management of protected area from the Ministry of forest to private structure .
Possibility of little tour in canoe exploring the beautiful landscape around the lodge

Day 7: PERINET-MANAMBATO (166 Km)
After breakfast and the community farewell, continuation through the rainforest to Manambato.
Arrival at Manambato, motorboat transfer to the hotel passing by the RASOA BE lake
Full board accommodation at ONY HOTEL .
Day 8-9 : MANAMBATO (On the Pangalanes Channel )
Cultural day with the inhabitants ; folk dance ,local handicraft skills , daily lucrative occupation , protection of environment

Day 10 : MANAMBATO - AKANIN’NY NOFY - TAMATAVE -SAINTE MARIE
Lunch, motorboat transfer along the Pangalane channel to Tamatave passing by the typical coastal villages among the RAVINALA Traveller trees and Pandanus
Arrival in tamatave.
Transfer to airport for flight to Sainte-Marie
Dinner and overnight at the hotel SOANAMBO in bungalows., situated directly on the beach: the hotel is a luxury retreat on one of the last truly authentic tropical islands, Sainte-Marie
Day 11 : SAINTE MARIE
Breakfast at the hotel, Full-day excursion for a whale safari .

Excursion to the famous « Iles aux nattes »
Sainte-Marie is a real tropical paradise which was frequented by pirates , authentic island with its desert beach occupyed by the villagers who are still respecting the tradition . Its name was given by some portugese navigators
The pirates tombs can be visited.

Day 12 - 13 SAINTE MARIE
Stay at leisure on the beach or biking in the villages among an exceptional population wellknown by his examplary hospitality

Continuation to the Malagasy handicraft market on the way to airport, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Paris
